I found a secret creek path in my city that feels like another world.

I was biking around the east side last weekend and took a wrong turn. That's when I saw a small opening between two buildings. It led to a hidden creek path with wildflowers and benches. Hardly anyone knows about it, so it's always peaceful. If you're in the area, check it out for a quick escape.

But honestly, sharing spots like that online is how they get ruined. The second you post about a quiet place, it stops being quiet. Next thing you know, there's litter everywhere and people playing loud music. Some secrets are better kept to yourself for everyone's sake, including the spot's. That path was peaceful because people didn't broadcast it.

Ugh, true. I've definitely been that guy who hypes up a quiet spot then immediately ruins it by bringing five friends.

I get the worry, but like, is it that bad if a few more people enjoy it? Most folks just want a nice walk, not to trash the place. Sure maybe a couple extra wrappers, but that creek's probably fine unless it goes totally viral.
