Found a simple stretch that eases wrist pain from filing all day
I was having real trouble with my wrists after hours of detailed filing work on rifle actions. The ache made it hard to hold tools steady by the afternoon. A buddy who fixes bikes showed me a stretch where you gently pull back on your fingers with your other hand. I do it for a minute or two when I feel tight, and it helps a lot. Now I make it a habit before lunch and after finishing a big job. My grip feels stronger and the sharp pains are gone. It's such a small thing but it saved me from a lot of frustration. Staying loose lets me focus better on the fine details without hurting.

Yeah I started doing something like that too after my hands would cramp up from wiring work. The stretch that clicked for me was pushing my palm flat against a wall with my arm straight to really get the forearm. Felt weird at first but now that tight band feeling is gone. I do it every time I take a coffee break and it stopped that tingling in my fingers. Makes a huge difference to just step back for thirty seconds and reset.

Oh nice, that's a solid tip. I read somewhere that the tingling means you're hitting the right nerve stretch.
