I still think quick save spamming is smart and I'll die on that hill

Everyone online says you should just rely on auto saves and live with your mistakes. I was playing a survival game last week, spent 45 minutes building a base, then a random patrol walked through and blew up half of it. I hit quick load and saved myself all that lost time. My buddy Mark says I'm cheating the experience. But I don't see the fun in redoing boring stuff. Has anyone else found a situation where quick saves actually ruined the game for them?

Yeah, totally with you on that. Some tasks just aren't worth repeating.

Ever noticed how some tiny decisions end up taking more time than the big ones? @johnh82 that's like me trying to pick a new coffee machine last month, three hours online and I just bought the same one again. Ain't that the truth about wasted time.
