My neighbor's quilt pattern got me thinking about layout grids
Was helping my neighbor fold her quilt... the repeating shapes just clicked for me. Now I'm using similar grids in my poster designs, and it's making everything feel more balanced.

Actually had that happen with a stack of bath towels last week. Got weirdly focused on whether the stripes should face in or out on the shelf. My roommate walked in and we debated color blocking for ten minutes. It's funny how your brain just spots patterns in the dumbest places sometimes.
