Found a gnome on top of a stop sign in my neighborhood

I was driving home yesterday and saw this little garden gnome just chilling on top of a stop sign at the corner of Elm and 5th. Someone must have climbed up there to put it, it was balancing perfectly with a tiny fishing pole in its hand. It made me laugh so hard I almost missed my turn. Has anyone else spotted gnomes in weird public spots like that?

Ha, that's awesome. Gnomes on stop signs is the kind of weird public art I can get behind. Somebody's got way too much time on their hands but honestly, that's a good thing.

Oh absolutely, "way too much time on their hands" is exactly the vibe. Ngl, I drove past this one stop sign in my town where somebody had painted a tiny little lawn flamingo next to the stop, like it was waiting for the bus. It stayed there for months and it made me smile every single time. Honestly, I think that kind of harmless weirdness is what makes a neighborhood feel alive. Makes you wonder what else is out there if people just let loose a little.
