Finally got my old fishing gear sorted after three years of it being a pile

I mean, it only took a Saturday and a bunch of clear bins from the hardware store, but now I can actually see the floor. Anyone have a better way to store long rods without them getting tangled?

Try hanging them from the garage ceiling with bungee cords.

Whoa, I gotta say I was totally with you on that for a long time. Every time someone mentioned bungee cords I pictured a tangled mess and snapped fishing rods. But honestly, I tried it last weekend after seeing a buddy do it and it actually works fine. I used those thick, heavy-duty bungees and spaced the rods out so they don't hit each other. The garage ceiling is the only place I had room, and now I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner. So yeah, I was wrong, it's not the disaster I thought it'd be.
