I finally tried that viral phone screen repair kit from a social media ad
The 'liquid glass' solution did nothing for my cracked screen and I'm out $35. Has anyone actually had a good result with one of these?

It's the same with those magic cleaning sprays or wrinkle creams that promise miracles. They sell you on fixing a problem the easy way, but the real fix always takes more work. Like those peel-off carpet cleaners that just pull up dye, or a cheap paint job that chips in a month. The shortcut almost never gets you where you need to go.

Got burned by one of those last year. Ended up just taking it to a local repair shop in the end. The guy there showed me how those liquids can't actually fix a real crack. Saved up and got the screen replaced properly, works perfect now. Honestly, cutting out the middleman and going straight to a pro was the only thing that worked for me.

Those ads are basically just selling a bottle of hope. They rely on people being desperate to avoid a real repair bill. It's a shame they get away with it.
