My roommate ate a whole jar of pickled eggs at 3am

Walked into the kitchen last Tuesday and caught my roommate Mike standing over the sink with an empty jar of pickled eggs and juice dripping down his chin. He just looked at me and said "the crunch was worth the regret" without any shame. Has anyone else witnessed a fridge raider commit to something this cursed?

Wait, who actually said that out loud? That's a pretty brutal thing to admit to yourself after a project wraps up. Your mileage may vary on this, but I've definitely been in that spot where you know you made a bad trade-off but the result was still solid. That little voice in your head keeps whispering "worth it" even when your back is screaming at you. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't muttered something similar under my breath more than once. Take this with a grain of salt, but those words are gonna stick with me too.

That quote from iris_mason88 about "the crunch was worth the regret" is giving me flashbacks to a podcast I caught where a game dev said the same thing almost word for word. It's wild how common that thought is, right?
