Last Tuesday I caught my roommate eating cold canned tuna with a fork at 3am
I came down for water and saw him standing in the dark just scooping tuna straight from the can without even draining the oil. He didn't even look at me, just kept eating like a zombie. Has anyone else walked in on something so weird it made you question living with that person?

Actually tuna is usually packed in water not oil, just saying.

Wait, didn't I read somewhere that most canned tuna in the US is actually packed in oil, but in Europe it's the opposite with water being more common? I remember seeing a thing about how the type of oil they use changes the flavor, like olive oil vs sunflower oil. Honestly I've always just grabbed whatever's on sale and never paid much attention to the liquid it's sitting in. Might have to actually look at the label next time I'm at the store...
