Caught my roommate dipping pickles in peanut butter at 1am

I came down for water around 1am and saw him just standing there with a jar of Jif and a pickle. He took a bite of the pickle then dipped the bitten part in peanut butter. Said he saw it on some weird food blog last week. I tried it and honestly it wasn't terrible. Has anyone else stumbled on a weird fridge combo that actually works?

Walked into the kitchen last week and found my sister dipping hot cheetos in cream cheese. She said it's a thing from some viral tiktok trend. Tried a cheeto dipped in it and yeah, it kind of works. It's like the spicy and creamy cancel each other out in a weird way. Seems like half the internet is just people discovering that salt, fat, and crunchy textures pair with anything.

The part about "salt, fat, and crunchy textures" pairing with anything really got me thinking @blair_green86. That cheeto and cream cheese thing sounds like it could go either way, but I'm kinda curious now. Do you think the cream cheese to cheeto ratio matters, or is it just a free for all? Sometimes those viral trends have a very specific way you're supposed to do it.
