Question about using up half a jar of pickled jalapenos and leftover cream cheese
I've got maybe 3/4 of a jar of pickled jalapenos that's been sitting in my fridge for 2 months, and half a brick of cream cheese that's still good. Last night I chopped up the jalapenos, mixed them into the cream cheese with some garlic powder, and spread it on stale tortillas I toasted in the oven. It actually worked as a weird little snack plate. Has anyone found a better way to use up pickled jalapenos besides nachos or sandwiches?

Drain and rinse those jalapenos first to get rid of that extra vinegar kick, then chop them up fine and mix them into the cream cheese with a packet of ranch seasoning. I've done this exact thing and it's killer on grilled cheese sandwiches or stuffed into chicken breasts before baking. Another thing I do is blend the cream cheese and jalapenos together with a splash of milk until it's dip consistency, then it's perfect for raw veggies or pretzels. You can also just spread it on a flour tortilla, roll it up tight, slice it into little pinwheels for a super easy party appetizer that looks way fancier than it is.

My wife actually makes a version of this with pickled banana peppers instead of jalapenos, and it's a whole different flavor profile that's a little milder but still has that tangy kick. She mixes in some shredded cheddar too and it bakes up really well in a crescent roll ring for a super easy dinner thing.
