Tried to clean out my fridge before the photo... that was a 2-hour mistake

Oh man, I feel this so hard. I did the same thing last weekend and it turned into a whole afternoon project. You start with one shelf and then you're scrubbing mystery stains and finding a science experiment in the produce drawer. I had to take a break halfway through because my back hurt from bending over. It always seems like it'll be quick but it never is.

Honestly I've found the opposite, if I just stick to a simple plan it goes fast. Last time I just pulled everything out, wiped the shelves with a damp cloth, and put the good stuff back. Took maybe twenty minutes. The key is not letting yourself get sidetracked by every little spot.

That is the BEST way to do it, just like @tessacarter said. You have to be a robot about it, no feelings allowed. @hugopark, I get it, the science experiments will get you every time. My trick is to keep a trash bag right there and toss the bad stuff without even looking at it too hard. If you stop to think about every old jar, you are sunk. Speed is the whole point.
