My grandma saw my fridge and just shook her head

She was over last month and opened it, saw my leftover takeout boxes and half a jar of salsa. She said, 'Cole, this isn't a pantry, you need some real food in here.' I mean, she's right, I mostly just heat stuff up now. Anyone else's fridge get judged by family?

Read an article about how single people's fridges are basically just condiments and leftovers. My mom does the same thing, she'll open my fridge and ask where the actual food is. Like, do frozen pizzas and coffee creamer not count as a grocery haul? Guess we're all out here living the same sad fridge life.

My buddy's mom saw his fridge and asked the same thing. He told her the hot sauce IS a vegetable, which @norag55 would probably agree with.

Does your mom also ask where the "real vegetables" are when you point to the ketchup?
