Question about tracking game nights

I just logged our 50th different board game played as a group since we started meeting. It matters because it pushed us to finally try a legacy game, which we never would have before. What's a good milestone that got your crew to try something new?

That "50 different games" thing is cool. For us, it was hitting a year of weekly meets without missing a night. Felt like we earned the right to sink time into a big campaign game. We started Pandemic Legacy season 1 because of it. That kind of commitment makes you pick something you know will be worth the investment.

Tbh @sarahhart I think that "worth the investment" thing is kinda backwards. Gloomhaven is a beast, but waiting a whole year to earn the right to play a big game feels like gatekeeping for no reason. Just jump in and play whatever campaign you want whenever you want, who cares if you miss a week.
