My friend's kid called our game of Catan 'boring math' and it got me thinking
We were playing last Friday and my buddy's 8-year-old daughter watched for a while before saying that. It made me realize our group has been stuck in a strategy game rut for months. Has anyone else had a comment from a non-gamer that made you totally switch up your game night plans?
Honestly, what did you end up playing after that? My cousin called Ticket to Ride "just colorful trains" once and it kinda wrecked our whole vibe. We ended up putting all the board games away and just played Jackbox on the TV for the rest of the night. Sometimes you just need something totally mindless, you know?
