Honestly, color-coding is a total lifesaver. I do the same with my weekly planner, and it stops me from mixing up deadlines. Tbh, without it I'd be lost.

Yeah, mixing up deadlines is the worst. I keep a red pen just for stuff due that day, orange for tomorrow, and blue for later in the week. It sounds simple but seeing that red really kicks me into gear.
