Screwed up by double-booking my first big freelance gigs

I was so excited to land two projects that I penciled them in for the same day without checking, lol. Had to apologize and delay one, which made the client super unhappy. How do you all handle scheduling when things get busy?

Eric182 has a point, but color code your calendar by client.

Ask clients to email date confirmations before you add anything to your schedule.
