Yeah, when grantl94 said that break in routine makes you more relatable, it hit home. My cat would probably do the same thing, but I'd be the one to weirdly stiffen up and apologize, totally flubbing the moment. I have a real talent for taking something naturally funny and making it awkward. It's cool your cat just rolled with it and the client did too. Pets have that honest vibe we lose when we try too hard to be professional. They just are, and people connect with that.

Honestly that honest vibe part really sticks with me, @nathan_barnes. I read something once about how dogs in offices make teams work better cause it cuts through the fake professional stuff. Tbh we get so worried about looking perfect that we forget just being normal is better. Your point about flubbing the funny moment is so real, we overthink and ruin the good stuff. Pets just do their thing and it reminds everyone to lighten up. It's like they give us permission to be people instead of job titles.
