Just saw the difference a proper ladle pre-heat makes on a 2000 lb pour
We skipped it once last month and the cold spots were a mess, but doing it right this week gave us a perfect fill. Anyone else have a simple step they've seen cause a big quality swing?

What about mold venting? We had a tiny vent clog once and it blew out a whole section. It's crazy how the smallest thing can ruin a whole pour.

Ever notice how that happens with everything? Like one tiny crack in a foundation can mess up a whole house.

Totally, it's like a domino effect with physical stuff. A single bad seal can wreck a whole engine block, same idea. Makes you check the small things twice.
