Feeling pretty good about our scrap metal turnaround
Started a program to melt down our own scrap instead of buying new. It's cut costs and feels better for the planet.

That's a smart move. Just remember melting it down still takes a ton of power.

Recycling plants in Ohio use more power than small towns. That's a huge drain on resources. We gotta find more efficient methods.

Used to think recycling was a no brainer, just toss it in the bin and you're good. Seeing the power numbers from places like Ohio really changed my mind. It forces you to ask if the juice is worth the squeeze on some materials. We definitely need better tech to make the whole process less of a resource hog itself.
