That is a brutal way to learn a lesson. Always check the seller's reviews really carefully before buying stuff like that online. A lot of those "antique" ingredients are total scams. Might be worth trying to get your money back through the payment service you used. Sorry that happened, it's a real kick in the teeth for a baking project.

Yeah, the "antique" label is a huge red flag. I've had luck getting refunds by opening a case right away and sending pictures of the fake stuff.
