Vent: I used to skip greenery in bouquets until a kid's comment at a party
I made a simple rose bouquet for a neighbor's birthday and left out the filler greens. A little girl pointed and said it looked lonely without the 'leaf friends', which made everyone laugh. Now I always add some, do you have a go-to green for cheerful arrangements?

Leaf friends" is a good way to put it. I'm with @harper408 on free greens, but I just grab whatever's in my own yard. It works fine and saves a trip.

Trust a kid to spot your bouquet's need for friends. Greenery keeps the flowers from looking too alone at the party. I use lemon leaf because it's cheap and fills space without drama.
