Overheard a customer tell her friend that baby's breath is 'trash flowers'... yikes
I was working a wedding consultation last Saturday and this bride-to-be is walking around the shop with her mom. She points at a hydrangea centerpiece I had on display and goes 'I love this but please no baby's breath, it's basically just filler trash.' I kept my poker face on but inside I was dying lol. Look I get it, baby's breath gets overused and thrown into everything cheap, but man it has its place. I did a whole event last fall where the bride wanted nothing but dried baby's breath bunches and it looked amazing against the rustic wood tables. Now I'm second guessing if I should even offer it as an option anymore or just let customers ask for it. Has anyone else noticed people hating on certain flowers lately or is it just my area?
