Just realized I was overcomplicating my rose arrangements for years

I used to pack them tight for a full look, but after a client in Austin said they looked 'stuffed', I switched to a looser style with more negative space. Anyone else find that less can actually be more with certain flowers?

Less is more" totally changed my peony game too.

Okay but are we talking about flowers or solving world hunger here. Sometimes a crowded vase just looks full and happy, not messy. Not every single thing needs to be a minimalist art project. They're peonies, they'll be dead in a week anyway.

Right? I used to cram so many stems in a vase and it just looked messy. Giving them space lets each bloom really stand out. It feels weird to do less but it works.
