My 20-year-old coffee grinder finally gave up the ghost this morning, but I think I found the culprit.

I mean, it was just a worn-out plastic gear inside that I found after taking it apart, and I'm wondering if anyone knows a good source for small replacement parts like that, maybe a 3D printing file or something.

My dad fixed his 1980s blender with a fishing line once.

Oh man, I just saw a whole thread about this! People were fixing old appliances with 3D printed parts. You should totally check out Thingiverse, they have TONS of files for random stuff like that.

Wow, I used to think 3D printing was just for toys, but that actually sounds pretty useful.
