Tried fermenting watermelon rinds and regret everything
They turned into a slimy, foul-smelling mess after a week. I had to air out the whole house because the stench was so bad.

Used to think fermenting anything was a cool way to reduce waste. Your post just convinced me some things belong straight in the compost. That slimy mess sounds like a special kind of kitchen nightmare. I can almost smell it from here. Definitely skipping the watermelon rind experiment forever.
