My sauerkraut volcano erupted all over my kitchen ceiling last Thursday
Honestly, I forgot to burp the jar for 3 days and it made a geyser that hit the light fixture. Anyone have a good method for cleaning fermented cabbage off popcorn ceilings?

Kitchen scent" is right, that smell really sticks. I used to think letting it sit was fine, but a batch of kimchi painted my walls once. Now I set phone alarms for burping, and keep jars in a big plastic tub just in case. The cleanup is never worth the extra day of fermenting.
