Just lost $80 on a fabric that looked great online

Ordered this textured linen for a jacket sample and it showed up feeling like cheap canvas. The color was totally off too, more gray than the olive green in the picture. Anyone know a good fabric supplier that doesn't have this problem?

Ugh that's the worst, fabric shopping online is such a gamble. Been burned by that exact thing before, the color never matches.

What about the texture though? Sometimes the pictures make it look soft but it shows up feeling like a potato sack.

Actually I've had pretty good luck with colors matching... it's the texture that always surprises me.
