I used a $3 thrift store curtain to make a dress and the texture completely changed the design.

That's the gamble with thrift store fabric, you never know how it's gonna behave. I tried making pants from a tablecloth once and they stood up on their own, like a weird denim sculpture. Hope your dress at least feels nicer than my cardboard trousers lol.

Wait, they stood up on their own? That's wild, abbyk10. I can't even picture pants being that stiff. What kind of tablecloth was it, like some kind of plastic coated thing? That sounds more like building a fort than making clothes.
