A client in Denver told me my color palettes were 'too safe' and it made me rethink everything.
After that, I started pulling one wild color from a photo, like a bright green from a street sign, and using it as an accent in my techwear sketches, which really made the designs pop.

Yeah, my brain also just goes to nature first. I had to force myself to look at a parking meter like it was some deep art.

Wait, you pulled a bright green from a street sign? That's actually genius, lmao. I would have never thought to look at something that basic for color. My brain just goes to nature or art for that stuff. Using it in techwear makes so much sense though, it's such a harsh, man-made color. Bet it looks crazy against all the black and grey.
