My old way of dealing with a slow computer was just to buy a new one
For years, I'd just get mad and start shopping when my laptop got sluggish. Then my cousin, who builds PCs, told me to try a clean install of the operating system first. I did it on my three-year-old machine last month, and it runs like it's brand new now. It took about an hour and saved me from dropping a grand on a replacement. Has anyone else tried this and found other simple ways to speed things up?
