Warning: a client in Dallas last month had a bad reaction to a 'natural' clay mask I'd used for years.
Turns out the new batch had a different preservative system, so now I patch test every single product, even from trusted lines, before it touches a client's face, anyone else run into this?

Yeah, "environmental factors" makes me wonder about indoor air quality too. Like, was the building's HVAC system pumping out different particulates that day, or had they just cleaned the carpets with something strong? That could throw off a test without you realizing.
