Read a dermatology journal piece that said over 60% of rosacea cases they see are worsened by standard foaming cleansers, not helped.
Found it in the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology from last quarter. It was a survey of 200 patients. I've been recommending gentle foaming washes for redness for ages, thinking they were the safe bet. This has me second-guessing my whole approach for that skin type. What's your go-to first step cleanse for rosacea-prone clients now?

One study doesn't mean you need to change everything you know.

You know what, @kevin_hernandez83, when does new info actually matter then? If we always waited for a bunch of studies, we'd still think smoking was fine and lead in paint was safe. A single solid study is the first sign something might be wrong. It means you should at least pay attention, not just ignore it. Acting like nothing counts unless it's repeated ten times is how bad ideas stick around way too long.

Love this! I actually heard a derm say micellar water or plain oil cleanser is way gentler for rosacea.
