Vent: Talked to a guy who still uses relay logic

Ran into an older mechanic at a supply house in Dayton last week. He said he still prefers old school relay logic over these new microcontrollers because you can actually see what's happening. Got me thinking about how much trouble I've had tracing faults on a board vs. just watching a relay drop out. Anyone else feel like we traded reliability for convenience?
