Rewired Joe's Diner over the weekend, and they stayed open.
Joe asked me to update his electrical system without closing. We worked in shifts during off hours. Managed to replace all the old wiring without a hitch. The place is safer now, and business didn't suffer. Really proud of how we pulled it off.

We did the same thing at Becker's Bakery last fall, splitting their main panel into two temporary ones so we could rewire half the kitchen at a time. My crew worked the midnight to six AM shift for three nights straight, and I've never seen so many donuts show up as thank you gifts. The key was mapping every single circuit on the wall first so there were zero surprises. How did you handle the refrigerators and coolers without losing power?

Used to think shutting down everything was the only safe way to handle a kitchen rewire. But seeing how @jenny_nguyen89 mapped every circuit first totally changed my mind. Now I hook up a separate temp panel just for the refrigerators and coolers before we even touch the main one. It means they run non-stop and we avoid any spoiled inventory. Tbh, your donut reward proves that planning ahead pays off in more ways than one.
