Raccoon tripped my client's motion light three nights in a row

Put in a new security light for a garage. The raccoon family uses it as a spotlight for their nightly raids. How do you wildlife-proof an outdoor fixture?

Lol, wildlife adapting to our tech is the real unstoppable force. Try a cage cover or mounting it way higher than they can climb.

Used to believe we could outsmart animals with enough tech, but watching squirrels defeat my "raccoon-proof" trash can lid was a real lesson. They just see our fixes as fun new puzzles to solve. Mounting things higher might work for a while, but they always seem to find a way. What's the most clever animal hack you've seen in your own backyard?
