Shoutout to the guy who told me to use a laser level for fence posts

I spent $40 on one from Home Depot after fighting with a string line for 3 hours on my back fence. Set 12 posts in half the time and they're actually straight. Anyone else tried using one for fence work or am I late to the party?

Did you use the self-leveling kind or just a standard one?

Stick with self-leveling if you can, way easier to get a clean finish without fighting bubbles or dips. Standard stuff works but you'll be babysitting it way more.
