Went with a 27-inch 1440p next to my old 1080p and it's driving me crazy

Had to pick between getting a second 1080p monitor that matched my old one or upgrading to a 27-inch 1440p Dell S2722QC. Picked the Dell because I wanted sharper text for coding, but now colors look totally different between the two screens. Dragging a window from one to the other is like entering a different planet. Anyone deal with mismatched monitors and just learn to live with it?

Honestly, different panels age at different rates so that mismatch will never go away.

I mean yeah sure panels age differently but that doesn't mean you just give up on matching them. There's a lot you can do if you actually take the time to measure and balance things out. Most people just slap new panels on without checking the specs or the rest of the system first. A little planning upfront goes a long way to keep things running smooth.
