Used to run a single 21-inch CRT for years, now I can't go back to less than two screens

Back in 2004 I had this old Dell CRT monitor that weighed like 40 pounds. It took up half my desk and I'd have to alt-tab between a Word doc and a web browser constantly, which drove me nuts. Then around 2010 I finally got my first flat panel and a second hand 19-inch Samsung from a friend for fifty bucks. Now I have a 27-inch and a 24-inch side by side and I swear I get twice as much done especially when I'm writing code or keeping a tutorial open while I work. Has anyone else noticed how much more you can do when you just drag stuff to the second screen instead of flipping windows?

Got my first dual screen setup in 2010 too. A cheap 19 inch next to a busted old 17 inch. Night and day difference for coding. Having the IDE on one screen and the browser on the other changed everything. Now I run a 32 inch and a 27 inch stacked vertical on a mount. No way I'm ever going back to one. Once you split your workflow across two displays it just feels broken to have only one.

Totally agree @emery965, I went dual in 2011 and can NEVER go back.
