Swapped my mismatched monitors for matching ones yesterday. What a difference.

For like 3 years I ran a 24 inch Dell next to a 27 inch Acer and the bezel heights never lined up. It drove me nuts but I thought it didn't matter that much. Finally snagged a used 27 inch Dell off Facebook Marketplace for $60 and matched them up. Now my cursor doesn't jump weirdly between screens and it's honestly way easier on my eyes. Anyone else deal with mismatched monitors for way too long before fixing it?

Nah, mismatched monitors give your setup character.

my buddy got his setup from a yard sale. one monitor is from 2008, the other is some random dell. @julia_burns9 would love it actually. perfectly ugly and functional.

Mismatched monitors are fine until you're trying to edit photos or play a game and the colors are totally off on one screen. Then it's just annoying, not character. People act like having two different refresh rates is some kind of aesthetic statement. But honestly most of us are just scrolling Twitter on the second one anyway so does it even matter? What's the worst that's happened with your setup because of the mismatch?
