Spent an hour at Micro Center last month and finally fixed my monitor arm pain
I was at Micro Center in Denver last month just browsing and saw someone testing monitor arms on the display models. They showed me how to loosen the tension screw on the gas spring arm to keep my 27 inch screen from drooping. I had been fighting with that thing for 6 months and never knew that was even a thing you could adjust. Now both monitors sit perfectly level and I don't have to reangle them every morning. Has anyone else found a random store tip that saved your setup like that?

That Micro Center tip is gold. I swear I spent a whole afternoon at the Houston location last year just watching their employee fix a broken display model of the same arm I had at home. He explained the tension screw thing to me too and I felt like an idiot for not knowing. I had been propping my monitor up with a stack of old textbooks for like 3 months before that. It's crazy the simple stuff you can walk into a store and learn that would have saved you hours of frustration.

Huh, I used to think those places were just for PC builders but you make a good point.
