Showerthought: bigger desk didn't fix my cable nightmare
Last month I swapped my 4 foot desk for a 6 footer thinking I'd finally have room for cable management. Ended up with even more wire chaos because I just added a second monitor without planning where the cords go. How do people keep two screens looking clean without buying a bunch of expensive cable boxes?

Wait, isn't a cable nightmare more about how you route things than just having space? @jana_henderson52 I mean you're right that more space can mean more clutter if you don't have a system. For me, I got some velcro strips and sticky cable clips from the dollar store and it helped way more than buying a bigger desk ever did. Maybe try tucking the extra length of your monitor cables under the desk with those clips before they hit the floor. Idk, it's not perfect but it's cheap and keeps things from looking like a spaghetti mess.
