My brand new secondary monitor started flickering during my shift
I was sitting at my desk last Tuesday trying to get some work done on my dual setup. My main monitor was fine but the new secondary one I just bought started flickering like crazy every 15 minutes. At first I thought it was a loose cable so I unplugged and replugged everything twice. Then I swapped the HDMI cable with the one from my old monitor and that didn't help either. Finally I went into the display settings and changed the refresh rate from 144Hz to 60Hz and it just stopped. I guess this monitor can't handle high refresh on dual setups? Has anyone else run into this issue with flickering on a secondary screen?

Well I swapped the HDMI cable with the one from my old monitor and that didn't help either" - sounds like you did the whole dance and still got flickered. Maybe your monitor just has performance anxiety in a dual setup.
