Finally got my two monitors to match colors after 3 months of tweaking

I bought a second monitor back in June and the colors were so different from my main one. Every photo and video looked weird because the whites were warm on one and cold on the other. I tried adjusting settings by eye but nothing worked. Last week I borrowed a color calibrator from a friend and ran it on both screens. Now they match perfectly and my desktop feels like one big seamless space. Has anyone else dealt with this color mismatch headache?

Yeah @ivanl76 nailed it, calibration is the only way to fix that factory mismatch nonsense.

That's exactly what I dealt with for two years. My left monitor had that yellow-ish warm glow and the right one was super blue. I tried matching them by eye but my whites were always off. I finally caved and bought a used SpyderX off eBay for like 80 bucks. Ran it on both and it took maybe 15 minutes total. Now I can actually see shadows and highlights the same across both screens. It drives me crazy that monitors ship with such different defaults from the factory.
