Tried a new lightweight mud in a Denver basement and it cracked EVERY seam.
The label said 'fast setting' but it dried way too quick for a cold, damp space. Anyone have a go-to mud for below-grade work?

Yeah, that stuff is a nightmare in damp basements.

Ugh, don't even get me started! @luna_green, you're totally right. Honestly, my last place had a basement that felt like a swamp and everything just melted or grew fur. Tbh I'm pretty sure I left a whole box of books down there and they probably turned into a science project by now.
