Serious question, why do bosses always rush us through taping?

Rushing taping just leads to more callbacks and hurts our reputation.

Remember when our boss rushed a drywall patch job and the homeowner found his cat stuck in the wall two days later? We don't talk about that lol.

We rushed a muffler job once and the bracket failed at 3 AM. Neighbor called the cops thinking someone was dragging a body down the street.
