Question about mudding a whole house solo
I just finished taping and mudding a 2,800 square foot new build in Phoenix by myself in 12 days. I never thought I could hit that pace without a crew, but using a pump system and pre-mixed mud saved me hours each day. Has anyone else managed a solo job that size in under two weeks?

That pace is wild, especially in Phoenix heat. The real test is how many gallons of water you drank per day, honestly. Bet that pump system paid for itself just in saved trips up and down a ladder.

You're right about the pump saving trips, but I still looked like a fool trying to drink from it. The water was so hot it felt like tea. I gave up and just carried a cooler around instead.

Sounds like a lot of drama over some hot water. People work outside in heat all the time without turning it into a survival story. Just drink the water and get on with it.

Ever wonder how hot that water actually gets sitting in a hose all day? I mean, I've had it come out steaming enough to make instant coffee. Idk, maybe it's just me but that's past the point of being refreshing.
