Honestly, patching a weird arched doorway in a 1920s house took me a whole afternoon when I thought it'd be an hour.

The curve was so tight my normal tape kept bubbling, and I had to cut a bunch of small strips from a roll of mesh instead. Anyone have a better method for weird angles like that?

Ugh, those old doorways are the worst. I fought with a curved plaster wall for a full day once. Ended up using a flexible corner tape meant for drywall, and it finally worked. What kind of tape did you try?

Ha, sounds like a geometry pop quiz gone wrong.

Wait, why not just freehand it with a small knife? I've had way less headache cutting paper tape to fit than fighting with mesh.
