The best way I've found to pack a lunch that survives a vibrating deck

Last month, we were on a big lake dredging project, and the constant vibration from the machinery kept knocking over our lunch boxes. I started using a heavy-duty cooler with bungee cords to strap it down. Now, my sandwiches stay put, and nothing gets crushed. It's made meal breaks way less frustrating. I even added some non-slip mats inside to keep things from sliding around. Anyone else have tricks for keeping food secure on a moving dredge? I'd love to hear what works for your crews.

Back on the Gulf Coast dredges, we just dealt with the shakes. Can't imagine needing bungee cords for a sandwich.

Wait, is that true? I read some boats have plates bolted down so stuff won't slide around. Sounds rough, @amym97.

Can't believe you need bungee cords for lunch.
