Remember when we used to just eyeball the spoil line depth? That changed for me after a job on the Mobile River back in '18.

Feel that deep in my bones. Watched a crew on the Pearl River have to redo a whole section because the line settled wrong after a big rain. Makes you respect the process, you know? That kind of thing sticks with you forever.

I had a buddy who helped on a foundation job in NOLA and they had to re-pour a slab three times because the ground kept shifting. @victor_adams95 you're right, it gives you a whole new level of respect for people who do this stuff day in and out.
